On Monday, 23rd March 2026, Assistance Mission for Africa (AMA) together with HELP and the SOS Project marked World Water Day at Mat Academy Primary School in Mingkaman, Awerial County. Although globally observed on Sunday, we chose Monday to celebrate alongside students bringing the message directly into their learning environment.
The day was filled with joy, learning, and creativity as students actively participated in dramas and fun activities, highlighting the importance of clean and safe water. Inspiring speeches were delivered by the Head Teacher, AMA and HELP facilitators, the HELP MEAL Assistant, and the Director of Education in Awerial County, reinforcing our shared commitment to WASH and child protection.
Together, we continue to empower young minds and communities with knowledge that shapes a healthier future.
